Museum Background 

Established in 2003, the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry is a non-profit organization that provides children with an exciting and educational experience. The museum features several exhibits that target different learning areas. From the dedicated art room to the mini Publix shopping experience, each one offers children the opportunity to gain an understanding of basic science, art, and environmental concepts. Overall, the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry is to spark imagination and stimulate curiosity through the power of play. Learn more about their mission on their website! Admission for children under 12 months old is free; tickets are $13 for South Carolina residents and $15 for non-residents. 

Where Is the Museum Located?

The museum is located in downtown Charleston on Ann Street. It is located centrally, so no matter when you visit, you’ll be in downtown Charleston with plenty of things to do before or after your visit! Be sure to plan for parking and ensure you and your child wear comfortable outfits!  

Exhibits 

The museum features several exhibits that are perfect for any age!
