Best Beach House

Wow—what a great experience! We absolutely loved this house and had plenty of space for our group of 11. We had such a fun time and really enjoyed the location. It’s a bit of a walk to Center Street, but we didn’t mind, it was a great way to get our steps in! The outdoor shower was super convenient, the temperature in the house was just right, and the management team was quick and reliable with their responses. Overall, we had an amazing stay and can’t wait to book with this company again!

Space was great for our family of 11

Sitting around the table playing bingo with our whole family. Searching for sharks teeth. We found over 50 in a variety of sizes. Pickleball on Folly is fabulous! Space was great for our family of 11. The week was very breezy so we spent more time in the house than we typically do.

Multi family vacation

We had two families and my mom stay over the weekend and we had such a nice time. The house has the best location- walking distance to town, directly across the street from the beach. All the rooms are spacious and we had plenty of room to gather in the main living area! House was clean; kitchen was sufficiently stocked.

Great get away

With other vacation plans cancelled due to Covid this was a last minute decision to avoid airports and get out of town. We’ve vacationed in Folly before and love the quaint and quiet town. So we looked again and found this gem. The layout of the house is great, view is fabulous and it is literally a 4 minute walk to the beach. The house is well appointed and comfortable. The rental company is very responsive and we had a great week. Exactly what we needed.

Amazing house and views. Our girls trip was perfect for the six of us- house was great for relaxing, walking on the beach, cooking, and getting to Charleston for a couple good meals. We loved the porches and proximity to the beach, Folly Beach town, and Charleston. Exactly as pictured. We hope to return and would definitely recommend to others looking for a house in the area.

Great location. Short walk to the restaurants and nightclubs. Very short Walt the the beach. Towels, linens beach gear all here. All modern appliances and dishwasher for those wishing to cook. Plenty of parking. Two decks, one 3rd level for sun and fantastic ocean views, 2nd floor covered and screened. Comfortable modern furniture, large bedrooms. Just a pleasure to stay here. We will definitely rebook. 🙂

Great time at Coastal Blue

Great house with ample room for large groups. Wonderful location, minutes to wide beach and able to walk to downtown area, pier, etc. Loved the screened porch and upper deck to see and hear the ocean. Kitchen was well appointed with great countertop space and a huge table for meals. All the rooms were large, allowing everyone to spread out. An outdoor shower and clothes lines for wet beach towels were an added bonus. We would stay at this lovely house again.

Great stay at Coastal Blue

It was a wonderful stay at Coastal Blue. Communication from Dunes Properties was excellent throughout, making rental super easy. The house was beautiful, in an excellent location, with ample room for families or a group. All the rooms were large, providing spaces to spread out. Even the bathrooms were big with great showers. The kitchen was well appointed with a huge table and countertop space for meals. We particularly enjoyed the screened porch and upper deck, able to see and hear the ocean. The walkway to the beach was just across the street, so minutes to be relaxing on some of the widest beach on Folly. An outdoor shower and lines for drying beach towels were an added bonus. We would stay at this property again.

Relaxing Retreat

We could hear the waves of the ocean from either balcony, and the view is fantastic. Home is brand new and has a well equipped gourmet kitchen. All the appliances you need including a Margarita machine and gas grill. Having an elevator is convenient for bringing in luggage and groceries. We will be back again!

Great Location, Well Kept Home, Great Customer Care, Nice Amenities

Our extended family enjoyed a few days after New Years at Folly Beach. We have done this over the years at various locations throughout the Charleston coastal area. This was the best house we have chosen so far. Amenities are very nice, property is clean and fresh. Provided linens is a nice convenience. When the grill is clean, you know the property is well managed. Internet (Wifi) and TV (local and Roku) worked very well overall. Porches nice whether up top with the sun, or down stairs in the screened porch. Ample parking under the home. We did not use the sleeper sofas for beds, just bedrooms. Children's room worked well with the bunk and double. All other bedrooms are one bed only so if there is a need to have folks in separate beds, consider bringing airbeds or the sleeper sofas in the common areas will need to be used. Mattress in one of the queen bedrooms as very very hard and difficult for sleeping. All others very nice.A few burned out light bulbs, and we could not find any spares. Kitchen stocked with essentials. Fridge very nice and island stove and bar very convenient. Large dining table great for eating with large group and board games afterwards or in the mornings.Location very convenient to be beach with easy access across the street. Pier and central business area is an easy walk. Beach walk is probably safer than walking along the road depending on time of day. Yes, the beach is wonderful. Plenty of sand and shells.Rental was easy. Instructions were clear. Communications prompt. We asked if we could arrive a little early and we were notified on day of arrival we could get in a couple of hours early. Yes, we will consider this house as perhaps our "base"going forward. We liked it. We enjoyed our time together. This home helped make our trip almost perfect.

This house is a best kept secret!! Perfect for a large group—the location is unreal and the house is comfortable and very well taken care of. Dunes Properties was extremely accommodating—even going the distance to have a plumber come out for a small drain clog on a holiday weekend. The team was easy to reach, accommodating and friendly!! We will absolutely be back!

Perfect Vacation Location!

The house was ideal in so many ways. Plenty of room, lots of light, fully furnished and perfect for a family gathering. The beach was a short walk, but the ocean could be heard and seen from the home. Having an outside shower was a plus after a day on the beach. Close to town where dozens of eateries, shops and activities can be enjoyed. If you plan a trip to Folly Beach this is the perfect place to stay.
