Welcome to Seashell’s Folly.

This stunning, updated and creatively designed Folly Beach home is located in one of the most sought after locations on the beach. The quiet west side of Folly is only 3 short blocks to Center Street where you can enjoy all the dining, shopping & entertainment Folly has to offer. This incredible home offers five spacious bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom.

Seashell’s Folly delivers expansive ocean views both inside and out from its floor to ceiling windows and multitude of decks. Each deck space has plenty of seating options. There’s even a fully fenced in grassy area so the kids have a place to play, and outside on the ground level you’ll find a game room equipped with a ping pong table, basketball hoop, dart board and more.

Walk inside and you’ll see straight to the Atlantic! Enjoy the mural by a local artist, with odes to Folly’s past and the homeowners’ family history. The spacious living, dining & kitchen area take full advantage of the oceanfront location. Enjoy your meals from the casual breakfast spot next to the kitchen or in the light filled, oceanfront dining room. When it’s time to rest, three of the five private suites are located on the first floor. Upstairs are the remaining two bedrooms, their bathrooms, and access to the rooftop deck.

Beautiful Beachfront

This is one of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed at. We stayed for a long weekend with 9 women. There was plenty of space, and then some more. We had an incredible time walking back and forth to the beach (steps away!!), and hanging out on the lower and upper porches overlooking the water. I could not recommend this place enough. We are already talking about coming back with our partners. We were pleasantly surprised by how well the house was stocked with kitchen, bathroom and odds and ends needs. There were also beach chairs and a beach wagon available in the basement for use. Checking in was a little tricky and some of the door locks took 2 people to jiggle open or close. There was an unexpected maintenance crew there at 4:45PM right when we checked in to remove an old mattress, that we were not informed about. Nothing that would leave a mark on our trip though. It was amazing!!

This property is amazing! Everything you could need has been considered. Great location, perfect for large groups or families to spread out and enjoy. No suggestions. Just a thanks for being available and checking in throughout our stay to be sure we had all we needed. The rental process was a breeze!

The secret is out

We were excited about staying here from the pictures, and it did not disappoint. The views are spectacular, the location feels far from the hustle and bustle, yet you can walk right to the center of everything in 5 minutes. The house can handle a lot of people and everyone still has plenty of room when you need a little break. Can’t say enough about the decor which is artful and eclectic. And the provisions~I’ve never rented another house with so many things you always need, from a dash of crushed red pepper and some olive oil to hairdryers, flat irons and curling irons! This house HAS IT ALL and then some. We just hope we can get back here next year. And the beaches, they are equally impressive and you’ve got your own private access to and from. This is a dream property! City

The house was absolutely beautiful. So many thoughtful extras that weren’t included in the photos when I booked this rental including every kitchen amenity imaginable, beach chairs, umbrellas and toys, and a ping pong table which our kids enjoyed for hours. The shelves labeled use, leave, replace included anything you could think of that we may have forgotten and were such a great idea. It truly showed that you went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Our only disappointment was that we couldn’t see the sunrise over the ocean as it was blocked by a hotel down the street. We do realize this is out of your control and would still give this house 5 stars.

Best House We've Ever Rented!!!

We have been renting vacation homes for 20 years. We all agreed this was the best ever! Perfect location being right on the beach and walking distance to town! Having a 10 month old and 2 1/2 year old made oceanfront perfect for nap time and the elevator made it possible for 90 year old grandma to join us! Beautiful home both inside and out! The house was stocked with so many essentials. The owner thought of everything to make our stay just perfect. Already wanting to book for next year!
