The house is perfectly located along the Folly River with stunning sunset views. The neighborhood was peaceful, and the property was close to the pools. The walk or golf cart drive to the beach or the commercial was easy. We would love to Sail Away again if we return to the Low Country.

Top notch getaway!

Sail Away has spectacular views & is a lovely home. Carefree strolls on the beach with my toes in the sand, yes it was a bit cold, but the grounding was essential. Easy & fun walk to restaurants & night life. And the boys had a ball fishing while Mom relaxed! Can’t get much better than that! PA

Perfect location!

Walking distance to downtown Folly and the beach. Pool was easy to access, as well as the dock going out to the inter coastal where we caught flounder, stingray, spot tail, crabs and shrimp. Screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails, bug free.

Great Property

My family and I had a great stay at your propety. The house was well stocked and the location was perfect. It was easy to walk to restaraunts, shops and the beach and it was an easy ride to downtown charleston. Our son will be stationed here for the next two years and I'm sure we will visit and rent with you again. I have also recomended it to friends already.

We saw dolphins every morning out from the covered patio. Folly Beach is like heaven on earth. Such a fun beach town with hometown stores and beautiful beach homes without tall condos everywhere. My wife has decided we are retiring to Folly in ten years if we can afford it. Highly recommended.

The only thing that could have made our stay better? It needed to be longer! We had no idea what to expect in arranging to visit for a relative's graduation. What a series of wonderful surprises lay in store for us! Every contact with the staff when arranging the stay was easy, clear, and satisfying.The property photos made the place look nice enough, but the reality was much better. Though my brother and his wife, who drove out to stay with us, had packed an enormous amount of utensils and cookware, we really didn't need to use anything they brought. We absolutely loved the short walk to the beach, the grand views of the river - with dolphin sightings each evening near sunset, and the accommodations. We'll definitely be back, and hopefully soon!

Perfect for families with children, BEAUTIFUL

We stayed at Sail Away for the second time this year and can't imagine renting another house on Folly. First, it's beautifully decorated, has classy island charm, and the views can not be beat. It's so relaxing to watch the tides come and go, and we have seen dolphins in the Folly River a couple times. Even though this house is part of a community it feels private and relaxing. One thing that makes this house so special for us are some of the amenities that are so close. The pool is fifteen seconds away and is gated- that was important because it's easy to run over there with the kids but we don't have to worry about the accidentally getting in by themselves. The fishing pier also provided us with entertainment on a couple days; plus, there is a playground within walking distance. If you have small children this is the place for you. And as others have mentioned the short distance to Center Street and the beach make all the charm of Folly so very accessible.

Wonderful Spring Break week with Teenagers

We stayed in Sail Away with 3 teenagers, plenty of room for all 5 of us . The condo has a wonderful view. We saw dolphins several times close to the dock. We loved watching them. I can't believe they were so close. The condo was very clean and spacious. The location was the perfect. Easy walk to beach restaurants and shops. We felt safe letting our teenagers venture out in town on their own. The town has lots of pedestrian crosswalks. They loved the freedom. We loved exploring the north end of the island and photographing Morris Island Lighthouse and making the easy drive into Charleston. This is a great kayaking location too. The management of this condo is very attentive . They were always on top of things in the reservation/check in process. We had a brief problem with the wifi, they sent someone out to take care of it. Easy peasy. We would definitely stay again.
