Beach Renourishment Project Planned for Summer 2026
As you prepare for your stay, please be aware that the City of Isle of Palms is planning a beach renourishment project beginning late June 2026 near the north end of Wild Dunes. This important project is intended to help preserve and protect the beach shoreline.
During active work, guests may encounter temporary beach access limitations, equipment, or pipeline sections along portions of the beach. Because the project schedule and work areas may change, specific dates and locations are not yet known. We will continue to share updates as more information becomes available.

The property was excellent. Great location, easy access to the beach and the beach carts were great.
Amazing house and fantastic location across from the beach. We loved the flowers and pie. The bagels were also a wonderful surprise - we found ourselves at Jeff's Bagel Run a couple more times before the trip was done.
We had an amazing stay! The house was beautiful, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The rooms were comfortable, the pool and other amenities were fantastic, and the property exceeded our expectations. The rental company was also excellent—very responsive and quick to help resolve a minor issue. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great beach getaway!
Stayed with 3 guys for a golf trip - Really nice place - Nice Kitchen - Awesome (new) TV's throughout - each bedroom had one and a really large one for living room. Each bedroom was nice - Master looked to be a newly renovated bathroom - all other bathrooms really nice also. Upstairs is the bunk room - also very nice - would be great for kids - Has a pool in the back - we didn't use - but very nice - great location on Palm Blvd - the other side of the street is beach front - so easy access to the beach
The house was very inviting when we walked in - easy listening music playing throughout the house, lights on, very clean and no strong cleaning smell. The decks were very relaxing overlooking the swimming pool and the beautifully landscaped, fenced in backyard. Also, the covered patio area by the pool was very peaceful including music on the TV. The primary bedroom was spacious, the bed was comfortable and there was direct access to the deck. It was great that Charleston Coast Vacations had the air conditioning checked prior to our arrived and the pool was maintained. The beach access was directly across the road which was very convenient. Dunes Properties was very responsive to any questions we had and were very nice when we talked to them on the phone AND there was even a key lime pie in the refrigerator when we arrived. We are planning on renting White Sands in the future. This was the second time we rented through Charleston Coast Vacations -- they are our first choice in renting from. Our dog did not want to go home which has never happened on any of our travels.
This is a fantastic house for our family. We wanted 3 bedrooms for adults and a bunk room for kids. Everyone had their own space for sleeping with their own bathroom. The house is in amazing condition with high end touches everywhere. The beach access is right across from the driveway. The pool gets a little bit of afternoon shade if you want to escape the sun late in the day. And the televisions in this house are so big that now I feel I need to upgrade my own at home. My family loves it here and are already talking about renting it again next year.
Beautiful property that we will rent again. Great location and easy beach access. Love the layout, amenities, and experience.
