We had a wonderful time. We found the unit to be just as described on the website. The location was perfect. Close to the beach and downtown, but still quiet. The decor appears to have been refreshed very recently. Kitchen appliances appear to be new. We really enjoyed the layout of the house, having two separate “living” areas was ideal. We spent lots of time on the large porch and picnic table and chairs under the house. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the bathrooms were great. The only complaint was the pots and pans were scratched Teflon that we all know we should not be using. I didn’t like having to cook for my family in them. Buy some stainless steel pots and pans and the place will be perfect.

This place is ridiculously fantastic! We've rented at Folly for years. This was our favorite. Great place! Everything you need. Excellent location near Low Life Bar, Chico Fao, especially Bert's Market and on a street with Public Beach Access. What more could you want. If it's the right size for you group, stop looking. It's appropriately priced too!

The home was incredibly spacious and the pictures didn’t do it justice

This was our 7th time visiting Charleston and our 2nd time staying on Folly and I think it’s safe to say we found our summer rental. . Under 5 minute walk to the beach, shops, and Bert’s market. The outdoor shower was a huge plus. The rental company was very quick and responsive. We will be back!

Our family enjoyed this property for several reasons: Plenty of space for us to spread out and relax, including the surrounding porch areas. We loved the inviting grilling area with open room for yard games and shade. The home's close proximity to the beach and town areas were perfect since just a few blocks away! And Bert's was perfect for those last minute needs. I also enjoyed the landscaping, as it was manicured and highly upkept!! Very nice!! Would highly recommend this location for a family vacation. However, the steps into the house, or up to the upstairs rooms may be a challenge for some with knee issues or tiny kiddos, but otherwise, perfect!!

This is the perfect house for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing getaway. It is such a great location just a few blocks from several wonderful restaurants. Also two blocks away from Bert's market which NEVER closes (literally), and another two blocks from public beach access. So convenient! The house is also extremely functional, with 2 living areas (one upstairs and one downstairs). The upstairs could fit a bunch of kiddos. Clean and functional carport underneath with power, grill, etc. Overall a great place and we will definitely be back!

Perfect location

This place was the perfect location. We walked to every place in Folly beach. The house is comfortable and has just the right amount of space for our family. Loved the bathrooms and bedrooms. The porches are perfect for drinking coffee. I would definitely rent this place again!
