Sitting on the porch watching the waves or the sunrise was perfect

You couldn\'t ask for a better location for the property, and the room set-up was ideal for our group. Lots of privacy when we needed it and plenty of space for togetherness when we wanted it. Sitting on the porch watching the waves or the sunrise was perfect. The furniture and decor weren\'t fancy or in perfect condition, but were perfect for the beach. The beds were comfortable, pillows and towels provided in abundance. I\'ve already reserved the house again for next summer.

This was our 3rd year staying at the Pride & Joy and it did not disappoint. It is a beautiful home and had plenty of space for our large group to spread out. It boasts the most amazing views of the marsh (from the front) and the ocean. We created lasting memories and hope to return in the near future. To the team at Charleston Coast Vacations — thank you for the wonderful customer service you continue to provide...you are top-notch!

This is a large house with a large screened in back deck that was perfect for our kids and grandkids – eleven of us in all. It is right on the beach. The kitchen is large and can easily accommodate three cooks, which was important for us because there are multiple food allergies in our family. The beds have new mattresses which everyone found comfortable. Each Jack and Jill bathroom on the first floor had two private toilet areas and a common shower area. They were excellent. It’s just the right distance from the active Folly Beach town center to bring privacy, but not so far as to make it a long trip. You won’t regret renting this spacious house!

Screened porch just feet from the ocean

The wide screened porch was our favorite spot to sit both day and night. At high tide it was an exciting view of the ocean. We had a front row seat for Hurricane Larry which was passing by (way out in the ocean) and the huge swells and waves. Screens do need replacing. We loved the large top floor master suite with large bathroom and a little observation deck for two. There are 3 extra single beds up there which would work for a family. Nice kitchen, living areas and big dining table seats 8. Several more stools at kitchen counter height for more seating. House is near the end of Ashley Ave., a quiet spot.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Pride and Joy! Very spacious home and great for a group. The house was very clean, nice linens and well appointed. Kitchen was mostly stocked with tools that you need for the week. The Oceanfront access had excellent views of the sunrise, the sunset and all in between.

“This house is amazing! Our family of ten spent a wonderful week there, and we all agreed that it was the best AirBnB we had ever stayed in. The home and furnishings were beautiful and clean, and the kitchen had every tool we needed to prepare great meals. Each morning, we would sit on the back porch with coffee and look out at the ocean below, before taking a short walk down the back steps to the beach. This end of the beach is quieter without too much foot traffic. The town of Folly Beach is adorable too - we especially loved Bert’s Market. However, we loved the house so much that we rarely wanted to leave! I would highly recommend this home, and Folly Beach, to anyone looking for the perfect place to kick back and relax.”
