Amazing Beachfront Vacation

Just what we were hoping for when we looked into staying in Charleston. We had never been to the area and wanted to have a great experience and decided to try to stay on Folly Beach and right on the Ocean. The deck is everything you can imagine - sitting out listening to the ocean literally steps from you. We also enjoyed the upstairs deck for some additional sun time when it got warm enough. We were there late February through March 6 and the weather was generally 60s and low 70s. Could not have asked for a better place to stay - will have to come back! The group we had utilized all 5 rooms (plus one additional porch room with a single bed) and it was perfect. As a warning though, UBER drivers do not like coming out this far onto Folly Beach during rush hours. You will definitely want to rent a car if staying at this place and you want to get around and to Charleston. Really enjoyed our time here!

Lovely house right on the beach

The house was spacious and comfortable, with a superb location on the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend it. We were there mid-December when things are quiet and not crowded, but it was an unseasonably warm week so that was nice. Saw lots of dolphins off shore and enjoyed watching the surfers.

Beautiful Views

We only stayed for a couple of nights. However, we all confirmed we would be back for the main season. Spacious home. Large bedrooms & plenty of bathrooms! You can grab an ocean view from almost any room in the house. The beds were super comfy. Great water pressure. My only disappointment would be that the chairs shown in some of the deck photos were not available. This could be due to it being off season? However should be disclosed prior to arrival. I was grateful they provide some initial needs such as toilet paper, dish soap, trash bags. This was truly helpful considering we were only staying three days/two nights. We had everything we could need and will be booking again in the future.

I loved being able to just walk out to the ocean from the stairs on the back patio. Listening to the sound of the ocean at night. Plenty of room for everyone. Close to dining and activities. My group of 10 wedding party members were looking for a place off the main strip of folly and this was perfect.Situated about 40 mins from the airport and 20-25 to downtown Charleston we were able to get a taste of everything but had a comfortable home-base to return to.The master suite features a wonderful walk in shower.Numerous decks allow access to the steady ocean breeze.

Perfect spaces for all!

Great gettaway location for 6 Moms and 6 teenage boys! All Moms had a private room with a bathroom and the boys piled in the center rooms & sun room across from the hall bathroom. The spacious outdoor deck was the permanent space for relaxing with breezes whether it was morning/night/rain/shine! We also thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop deck for moon and star gazing! Dolphins and pelicans abounded. The beach was perfect and away from the hub bub of Folly central but close enough to pop in for dinner. Two places delivered and made staying put and enjoying the property easy and affordable - we would absolutely come back!

We had a great stay at the Seascape Wonder. Renting the property was simple and when we had questions, the company was quick to reply. The home had a few things that needed repair but these really didn’t hinder our stay. We loved that the house was farther from the main strip for more privacy. We also loved that we had direct access to the beach. We wished that there were more chairs for the deck, especially lounge chairs like what were shown in the pictures. The WiFi was also not very reliable but to be expected considering where we were. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend this property.

In April, it was mostly our house mates on the beach and a few folks walking by vs. crowds that may collect near the pier. About 30 minutes to Charleston when we wanted to do carriage tours, ghost tours, or fancy dinners. House was clean and well equipped with ample linens and starter paper towels and trash bags. Bring your own beach towels and chairs. We would highly recommend this place: our group of 7 friends had plenty of room to stay. Would be just fine for a variety of couples and kids. One thing to note: the daybed room must walk through another bedroom to reach the hallway. Awkward for any nighttime bathroom trips, but not the worst.
