Living Area:
A spacious and sunlit living room with expansive ocean views, comfortable seating, and a coastal theme throughout. The open-concept layout leads to a large deck, perfect for enjoying the beach views.

Kitchen:
Fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances including a refrigerator, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Prepare meals while still enjoying the ocean views and access to the outdoor deck.

Bedrooms:
Primary bedroom: King-size bed with en-suite bathroom and private deck access, complete with rocking chairs for morning relaxation.
Bedroom #2: Queen-size bed, bright and airy, sharing a hallway bathroom.
Bedroom #3: Two twin beds, perfect for younger guests, sharing a hallway bathroom with Bedroom #2.

Bathrooms:
The home features two well-appointed bathrooms, including an en-suite in the primary bedroom and a shared bathroom for the other two bedrooms. Each bathroom offers fresh towels and complimentary toiletries.

Outdoor Space:
Enjoy an expansive deck that spans the length of the house, featuring rocking chairs and a high-top table for drinks or dining while overlooking the ocean. The deck is connected to a private beach walkover, offering direct access to a quieter section of Folly Beach. Underneath the house, there’s covered parking, an outdoor shower, and a grilling area sheltered from the sun.

The location can’t be beat. It’s a little far to walk to the center of town, but the location on the beach is amazing. The view from the porch, living room, and master is amazing.

Great week on Folly

The house was just as advertised. The kitchen was well stocked and the grill worked great. Liked going out but ate in 4 nights as well. Any issues were dealt with promptly by the management. Could not be closer to the beach. Loved watching the shrk fishermen in the evening (see Charleston sharkers). Plan to visit again for long weekend getaways.

We had such a nice stay at this lovely property on the beach! The photos on the website were very representative. The property was very clean, the towels and bed linens were crisp and fresh. The interior decor is fresh and inviting, but of course our favorite spot was the outdoor deck overlooking the beach. I would recommend this property to others.

The Salty Dog is an ideal property for a group of two or four people - the location and beach access can't be beat and when you wake up early, there is nothing to beat the sun rise over the ocean as seen from the front porch of the property

Wonderful week at Folly Beach!

We spent the week at The Salty Dog,and found the house perfect for our girl's getaway. Nicely appointed, we had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen very well stocked, and the living room with full view of the beach was a great place to gather and visit. Most enjoyable was the porch, where we sat every morning and evening, and watched the waves and birds and weather. Conveniently located to Charleston and other area attractions, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. All four of us remarked that the place was a great find!

Beautiful Ocean Gem

My family just returned from a wonderful 5 day Easter stay at The Salty Dog. We loved everything about this place, from it's tasteful coastal decor, updated features, comfortable beds, and best of all, the vantage of the ocean from our living areas and full length deck. Having our morning coffee and evening glass of wine out on the deck was so relaxing and restorative. The full size dining table was perfect for family meals and card games. The beach was nice and wide....we practically had it all to ourselves. We called the property manager asking about a grill, and they delivered a brand new gas grill to us the next day. Exceptional service! We would definitely love to stay here again and we highly recommend The Salty Dog.
