Lovely Beach Getaway

Our rental was absolutely perfect!

Has to be the snow! We are from Alaska and we really enjoyed watching kids and families experience the joy of \"snow surfing\" on boogie boards, paddle boards, cardboard and whatever they could find. So much laughing and joy on the beach, snow or sun! We picked up extra groceries before the storm, followed Dunes Properties instructions to prep the house that was texted to us and had a cozy time by the fireplace with family. We even found puzzles and games to pass the the time. Perfect! Our rental was absolutely perfect! We had everything we needed for almost a month long stay. Everything was so well thought out and really appreciated the little touches like having toiletries and the kitchen kit with sponge and soap. The notebook with instructions for the rental was also so helpful and we referred to it multiple times. We felt safe, comfortable and communication was excellent with Dunes Properties. The rental handled the cold weather nicely and the heat worked perfectly at any temperature. Linens and beds were very comfortable as was the furniture.

Felt very at home in house

The house open layout for very enjoyable for husband and I. Also liked two large bedrooms at opposite side of house, if additional couple had been traveling with us. Lovely screened deck in front of house was wonderful to sit and read book on. Loved large back deck as well. Master bathroom and 2nd bathroom nice and modern. This was the perfect rental for a family vacation with our dog to Charleston/Folly Beach. The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It was well-stocked and had everything we needed. We loved relaxing on the screened in porch, and the beach is only a block or so away. The location is quiet and primarily residential. Most bars/restaurants in Folly Beach are 15-20 min walk or short drive. We spent a lot of time in downtown Charleston which was only a 20-25 min drive. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Folly Beach House

This house was a 5-star property. The location, 2nd block back from the beach, meant a 5-minute easy walk to the beach. Its an easy bike ride into the town center, yet far enough away to remain quiet. Everything was clean, modern, and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped for all our needs. The front and back porches are really nice for chilling out and relaxing. Checking in and out was easy; only thing that would make it better is to have a keypad on the door, eliminating the need to pick up and drop off keys on busy Center St. Highly recommend!

We normally rent a week on the front beach with my family in the summers, but this was perfect for what we wanted. All new appliances. A well stocked kitchen. Plenty of cabinet space. Huge fridge. Great porches, both front and back. All very clean and very homey. It is a 90 second walk from the bottom of the stair to the walkover to the beach....very easy...Overall, a great place and we'll stay here again. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved everything about it. It's been carefully renovated, with every appliance and kitchen utensil we needed. The beds and pillows couldn't have been more comfortable and the linens and towels seemed brand new. We spent most of our time on the amazing front porch, but ate some of our meals on the back patio as well. There are so many great touches to this home -- we felt as comfortable as we do in our own home. We are dying to come back.

Folly Beach hideaway

Phenomenal rental!! We couldn’t be happier with the Jangada Breeze hideaway location, property features as well as the helpful rental staff who were extremely accommodating when we needed help. This is one of the most well stocked rentals particularly in the kitchen; it felt like our own home. It was conveniently located 2 blocks from the beach, 5 blocks from Bert’s and 7 blocks from town. We were able to park our truck and walk easily everywhere! The owners put a wonderful touch to the property with decorations and design and it really feels like home away from home. Plus it’s very dog friendly with a hose out front when our sandy pup got home from the beach. Absolutely would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a family friendly or Romantic getaway to Folly Beach. Can’t wait to come back again soon!!
