From Wikipedia: A Jangada is a traditional fishing boat (in fact a sailing raft) made of wood used in the northern region of Brazil. The construction of the jangada incorporates some improvements in neolithic handcraft - better materials were found and the physics of sailing was better observed through experimentation. The details are closely guarded by artisans.
Jangada Breeze on Folly Beach is a beautifully renovated and hand crafted beach home. The modern construction incorporated hints of traditional beach home design like pine floors throughout and tongue and groove pine ceilings. No space was overlooked in this immaculately designed home. Jangada Breeze is located on a large lot and only 100 yards away from the ocean. As you enter the property, a large screened in porch welcomes you. Relax on the the comfy couch, chairs or hammock while you take in the cool ocean breeze. Once inside the home an open kitchen, living and dining area provides ample spaces for your group to relax. The chef’s kitchen boasts a gas range, large quartz countertops and high end appliances with open shelving and plenty of storage. There’s a large dining table with room for up to 6 guests and a kitchen island with extra seating. Off of the kitchen is a washer and dryer and half bath. The master suite has a king sized bed and a large bathroom with a tiled shower and double vanities. The second bedroom has a queen and shares a bathroom with the third bedroom with two twin beds. Off the back of the house there is a spacious sundeck complete with plenty of furniture, a picnic table and gas grill. Well behaved dogs are welcome with a nominal pet-fee. Felt very at home in house
by Rosemary RThe house open layout for very enjoyable for husband and I. Also liked two large bedrooms at opposite side of house, if additional couple had been traveling with us. Lovely screened deck in front of house was wonderful to sit and read book on. Loved large back deck as well. Master bathroom and 2nd bathroom nice and modern. Kitchen was wonderful for preparing meals.

This was the perfect rental for a family vacation with our dog to Charleston/Folly Beach. The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It was well-stocked and had everything we needed. We loved relaxing on the screened in porch, and the beach is only a block or so away. The location is quiet and primarily residential. Most bars/restaurants in Folly Beach are 15-20 min walk or short drive. We spent a lot of time in downtown Charleston which was only a 20-25 min drive. We would definitely stay here again!

My family stayed here for a little over a week, and we loved it! The home is a great size with a casual, beautiful decor, and all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect because it is within walking distance of the restaurants and bars, but just far enough away for completely quiet nights. We will stay again for sure!

Fantastic!

This property was a perfect layout for a family with teenagers. Plenty of space for our family and overall very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals. Overall very clean. Great location that’s just a short walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants in walking distance. We can’t wait for our next trip to Folly Beach and would certainly look to stay here again.

Wonderful Folly Beach House

This house was a 5-star property. The location, 2nd block back from the beach, meant a 5-minute easy walk to the beach. Its an easy bike ride into the town center, yet far enough away to remain quiet. Everything was clean, modern, and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped for all our needs. The front and back porches are really nice for chilling out and relaxing. Checking in and out was easy; only thing that would make it better is to have a keypad on the door, eliminating the need to pick up and drop off keys on busy Center St. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for a long weekend as a home base for Wedding and Baby showers - both on Folly. This is a wonderful home. We normally rent a week on the front beach with my family in the summers, but this was perfect for what we wanted. All new appliances. A well stocked kitchen. Plenty of cabinet space. Huge fridge. Great porches, both front and back. All very clean and very homey. It is a 90 second walk from the bottom of the stair to the walkover to the beach....very easy...Overall, a great place and we'll stay here again. Highly recommended!

Loved this house!

This is a beautiful and comfotable house for our family. There always some shade and depending on where the sun is, you go to the deck on one side or the screened porch on the other side. There is a short walk to the beach and close to Bert's Market and down town restaurants.

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY

Our family of 6 people and 3 small dogs LOVED Jaganda Breeze! It is very beautiful, literally a 3-minute walk to the beach, and had everything we would have wanted, including a very well-equipped kitchen, beach chairs, surfboard and boogie boards,, front and back decks, hammocks and comfy beds. We absolutely loved everything about it. It's been carefully renovated, with every appliance and kitchen utensil we needed. The beds and pillows couldn't have been more comfortable and the linens and towels seemed brand new. We spent most of our time on the amazing front porch, but ate some of our meals on the back patio as well. There are so many great touches to this home -- we felt as comfortable as we do in our own home. We are dying to come back.

Beautiful Cottage

Our family of 4 had a great stay here last week. The cottage is so tastefully remodeled. The location is awesome, so close to beach and walkable to downtown Folly eateries. The kitchen was the best supplied of any home we have rented. We cooked in many nights and used the brand new grill on the back of house. We will definitely return.

Folly Beach hideaway

Phenomenal rental!! We couldn’t be happier with the Jangada Breeze hideaway location, property features as well as the helpful rental staff who were extremely accommodating when we needed help. This is one of the most well stocked rentals particularly in the kitchen; it felt like our own home. It was conveniently located 2 blocks from the beach, 5 blocks from Bert’s and 7 blocks from town. We were able to park our truck and walk easily everywhere! The owners put a wonderful touch to the property with decorations and design and it really feels like home away from home. Plus it’s very dog friendly with a hose out front when our sandy pup got home from the beach. Absolutely would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a family friendly or Romantic getaway to Folly Beach. Can’t wait to come back again soon!!
