In addition to secured gated off-street parking, Charleston Oceanfront Villas offers guests a private beach access and walkway, two generous swimming pools, chaise lounge chairs on the sunny pool deck, and outdoor showers for a quick rinse before returning to your breezy balcony. Conveniently located next to some of the best restaurants on the island, you also just step away from surf lessons, jet ski rentals, kayak tours, and paddleboarding on the Folly River. Charleston Oceanfront Villas is a gated oceanfront complex located steps from the shops and restaurants of Folly Beach. These villas feature 2 oceanfront pools, 2 elevators, private covered parking, and amazing views. The pools at the Oceanfront Villas are open seasonally from April 1 - October 31st, weather permitting.

The temperature of the pools is not controlled, and will largely depend on the outside weather conditions. Building management is responsible for the upkeep of the pools and elevators on the property. They may close either of these amenities for routine maintenance or cleaning as and when required.

Parking is limited to two spaces per villa and passes are complimentary. If additional parking is desired, it is at the discretion of the building management and based on availability. If additional parking passes are available, guests may elect to purchase them, but the cost can range up to $100 per pass.

We've partnered with VayK Gear to provide our guests with a credit towards beach gear rentals! If you book this vacation rental for a stay duration of 4 - 14 nights, you'll qualify for a $250 credit towards vacation gear!

***The Oceanfront Villas are individually owned, and each year from October-March allow a period of time for owners to complete construction projects. This may involve noise for neighboring condos

Starting in the fall of 2024, the HOA of the Charleston Oceanfront Villas is set to begin a construction project to replace all oceanfront sliding doors in the building. This project will happen stack by stack, beginning on units ending in -23, and working toward the pier. There will be scaffolding up over each stack as work begins, and there may be loud noises associated with heavy work. Each section is blocked off according to work schedules, but construction times will vary based on weather conditions.

The Swan Dive is the first condo unit that we check for availability

Spending the time on the beach is our favorite activity. We also enjoy sitting on the condo balcony and overlooking the ocean. We order takeout meals and enjoy them while sitting on the balcony. I make annual trips to Folly Beach. The condos at the Charleston Villas are our favorite places to stay because of their location on the oceanfront and the close walking distance to the restaurants and shops on Center Street. The Swan Dive is the first condo unit that we check for availability. It is a second-floor unit, so we can skip the elevator and use the stairs if we choose. The unit is spacious, nicely decorated, and clean. We would highly recommend it to everyone. Dunes Properties handles rental of The Swan Dive. The staff is courteous and responsive, and it makes the whole rental process easy.

We had the most amazing long weekend on Folly Beach in this condo! It was beautiful, and very specious. The location is so perfect right on the water. We drove into Charleston several times for dinner and nightlife, and the drive isn’t bad at all! Loved having the best of both worlds with the beach so close to the beautiful city. Highly recommend this condo!

Whole property was very well maintained and perfectly located, views were amazing. The unit was beautiful, comfortable and well laid out for multiple families with 3 separate full baths. Fav Vacation Moment : Hearing the waves crash during our sleep

The Swan Dive was an extremely clean and well appointed vacation rental. We had just about everything that we needed. We were travelling for a family wedding. Accessibility was important for us and this property met our needs. There is elevator access very close by, no steps, and 2 standing showers. We had plenty of space for sleeping & visiting. The surfers & dolphins right outside our windows were an added bonus! The management team was responsive and helpful. We didn't have washcloths at first, but they made arrangements to have some delivered in a timely manner. Check in and out texts were also helpful. Would definitely stay again and not hesitate to use this company.

5th year vacationing with Dunes at Folly Beach. We have stayed in many different units every year. This was a very nicely decorated unit. Recently updated, was very nice. The bunk room was ideal for the children in our group. Other bedrooms were spacious and nice. Balcony furnishings were excellent to sit out in the evenings and watch a stray thunderstorm coming through.

Amazing property!!

The property was amazing. Perfect location to walk anywhere we needed to go on Folly beach and a quick 20 minute drive to downtown Charleston. I did mess up entering the code in the door and the property management helped me right away! I also could not find the fob to enter the pool area and they were all SO nice and pointed out it was hanging by the door (long travel day). We did buy some lawn chairs (off season so not many beach options around) and left them so I hope you use them!! The pool area was so nice as well. So if you want to lounge at the pool there is plenty of comfy furniture already there. My favorite was all the furniture on the balcony. We spent so much time watching dolphins and lounging out there. So great. Also, I know it’s not for everyone, but really great to have the Roku there for rainy lazy days. Felt so relaxed and at home. Thank you for renting this amazing property. I would absolutely recommend this property and I would absolutely stay here again!

Folly beach

We are a family of 6 that stayed at the condo and had a wonderful stay. Check-in instructions were easy, and the house had all the basic stuff needed for our stay. Bring your own beach towels, extra paper towels and toilet paper. Views are amazing (essentially right on the beach) and outside space is very nice as well. Kids loved the double bunk bed set-up and a few of the board games. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

Great Location Great Condo

This condo was great! The check in process was seamless and simply. Super clean and well stocked. Extra linens came in handy when we had a snoring uncle who needed to sleep on the couch. Had four adults and four kids was the perfect size for our group.

Nice Oceanfront Condo

Condo 219 was as promised, recently renovated, well appointed, and oceanfront. Our Family enjoyed our stay as it was super convenient to the beach and center street restaurants at Folly Beach. The Charleston Oceanfront Villa complex was older but was generally clean and well maintained. The 2 complex pools are quite small and shallow but served us well as we had small children. Staying in this newly renovated unit was key to making our vacation week a success. Beds were comfortable (using our own linens), abundant TVs, WiFi, well appointed kitchen, and working A/C. The balcony was large and had shaded seating making it a wonderful place to relax and overlook the beach.

Beachfront Luxury Feel Condo

This beachfront condo was nicely renovated. It felt like staying in a luxury apartment. Plenty of room for 6 adults and one child. The place has clean linens and towels and kitchen is equipped with basic essentials (cutlery, plates, glasses, pots/pans, coffee pot) but you are expected to supply some other basics (we had to buy paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent, dish soap etc). Great place to spend the week! Great access to the beach and building swimming pool.

Simply Awesome!

Our family had an awesome time in Folly Beach this off-season! The rental process was simple and seamless and the condo was way more than we could've expected. We rent condos 1-2x's per year in different South Carolina beach towns and this condo was the best! Great location to everything. We could have had another family with us and there still would've been plenty of space. The updating and décor were tasteful and "beachie". The rooms were large and bright. Everything worked. The ocean front balcony was large, clean, and had plenty of chairs/loungers (including a comfy love seat). This condo made it tough to come home to our house. My wife had plenty of new plans for updating our house by the time we left Folly. Highly recommend this condo.
