This is a good central spot for a visit to Folly Beach. The apartment is spacious and it has everything you will need (except beach towels--bring your own--Charleston Coast forewarned us). The internet was down when we arrived but one quick call to Brad fixed the issue (I could not find the router to reboot). My overall impression was that the rental agency was quick to respond and wanted to provide a positive experience. The deck is spacious and you can see the sea. The apartment is on East Ashley--the main E-W thoroughfare--but that added to the experience. Lots of people watching, but sometimes not for the faint of heart... It's an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. We loved Rita's and the Tiki bar, which is just next door, but which is not loud at all. There is sometimes everyday noise from people around you, but the neighbors were friendly and considerate. The apartment comes with two parking spots, which was a huge plus, even at the end of the season. I was a little surprised that I was asked to sign a contract over and above that of AirBnB and was also 'offered' additional insurance, but it was easy enough to decline.
