Grand Pavilion 016 - Pavilion Paradise

Property itself was great. Plenty of beds and bathrooms and the feeling of seclusion where you weren't on top of the next bedroom. Downstairs living area was great. Nice kitchen and living room and GREAT screened in porch facing the ocean. Views were awesome!

Really enjoyed our week at 16 Grand Pavilion. It was a perfect spot for us, our adult children and grands. The gathering space and the fact that each bedroom had its own private bath was a plus. The proximity to the ocean was also a bonus for us.

The property is absolutely beautiful with plenty of space to spread out. The beds were extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the fact that each bedroom had their own private bathroom. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Utilized the gas grill one night for grilling out steaks and baked potatoes. Close walking distance to all stores and restaurants in Wild Dunes and the grand pavilion with swimming pool and beach access with umbrellas.

Our opinions: 16 Grand Pavilion is well located to the ocean and Grand Pavilion. We had access to all the GP and Sweetgrass pools with our wrist bands. The house was large and comfortable for our entire family. There was plenty of parking space for 5 vehicles in the garage or driveway. The garage locked. We liked the stairs leading down into the garage from the main level. These provided an easy walk through the back of the garage, across the nice lawn, and out to the beach. A hose for rinsing feet was located at the back door. Views from the 2nd and 3rd floor porches were amazing. The first floor had a screened porch. Some things to note: The 3rd floor has a king (master) and a queen bedroom – not two kings. The 2nd floor has 2 king bedrooms (one’s another master) and a third bedroom with two twins. The 1st floor has a queen bedroom. The queen bedroom on the 3rd floor has a short half story closet that is quite hot. The 3rd floor master has a massive and gorgeous shower. The 3rd floor master bedroom is large and has great views through the many windows (some windows with shades and some without). One can see the windows in the photos on the website. We planned accordingly and brought supplies to block the light at night where needed – easily removable in the daytime to enjoy the views of the beach as they were just propped up and not attached to any walls. The 2nd floor master is missing glass on a window and that is replaced with plywood – likely a temporary fix awaiting repair. It was covered with a window shade. The house is well decorated, and the bathrooms had all been updated. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The kitchen would benefit from some additional update. It was a very nice house. Charleston Coast vacations was easy to work with for our reservation and very responsive to any questions or needs that we had.
