James Island County Park
James Island County Park is more than a great place for humans. It’s also a wonderful place for dogs to have fun! The James Island County Park’s dog park has plenty of room for dogs to run around. It even has an area that borders a lake, so your dog can hop in and go for a quick swim to cool off on hot summer days!
Folly Beach County Park
Did you know that you can also bring your dog to the Folly Beach County Park? It’s true! Keep in mind that while this park is pet-friendly, you must always keep your dog on a leash, and no pets are allowed during the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from May 1 to September 30.
The Bark Park
If you’re looking for an alternative in the Folly Beach area, then we recommend going to The Bark Park at 512 East Erie Avenue. It has a quarter-acre of space for dogs to play, in addition to a water fountain and picnic table. There’s also a playground and tennis courts nearby that you can check out after your pet has their fun.
