The Marbella is a classic, stilted oceanfront beach house. This 3 bedroom & 2 bath home is a great way for a family to experience the Charleston lowcountry coast. Imagine the sound of waves gently crashing on the sand. Feel the salty, ocean breeze greeting you on the private dune walkover which is connected to the wooden deck. Built into that deck is a screened-in porch with modern chairs and a glass table. Beneath the house is the essential outdoor shower for rinsing off when you’re done playing in the Atlantic Ocean. On the other side of the home is another deck with a porch swing from which you can relax and watch the sun set over the beautiful marsh. Inside, dark wooden flooring runs throughout the home. The living room has a vaulted ceiling and separates the bedrooms. On one side are two bedrooms and one bath. One of the bedrooms has an ocean view. On the other side is the full kitchen and the master bedroom which also has an ocean view. The master bathroom utilizes a stand-up shower. The Marbella is located just beyond the Washout, Folly Beach’s most popular surf spot. As such, it is well away from hustle and bustle of Center Street which means you shouldn’t hear much else than the ‘swoosh’ of the breakers on the sand and wind rustling the fronds of the Palmetto trees. However, all of downtown Folly Beach is just a short drive away.

***The City of Folly Beach has scheduled beach renourishment for this spring. The project will start at the West end of the island at the county park progressing towards the pier in blocks. The completion is slated for August. While this is welcomed news given the recent erosion from storms and high tides, we realize the potential for disruption based on the project’s timing. We are committed to ensuring your vacation experience remains enjoyable. While most of the beach will remain publicly accessible during the construction, there is a possibility that certain sections of the beach, typically about 500 feet at a time, may be temporarily closed off. The active work area moves every 5 to 7 days on average. Due to so many external factors, we have no way to predict an accurate timeline for when the project will be at any given location. However, if we anticipate in advance that the project may affect your stay, we will be reaching out to you.
