East Ashley Avenue 1311 - Little Drip

The City of Folly Beach has scheduled beach renourishment for this spring. The project will start at the West end of the island at the county park progressing towards the pier in blocks. The completion is slated for August. While this is welcomed news given the recent erosion from storms and high tides, we realize the potential for disruption based on the project’s timing.

We are committed to ensuring your vacation experience remains enjoyable. While most of the beach will remain publicly accessible during the construction, there is a possibility that certain sections of the beach, typically about 500 feet at a time, may be temporarily closed off. The active work area moves every 5 to 7 days on average.

Due to so many external factors, we have no way to predict an accurate timeline for when the project will be at any given location. However, if we anticipate in advance that the project may affect your stay, we will be reaching out to you.

In the small chance the project directly affects your beachfront vacation, we will work closely with you to discuss options.

The fully stocked kitchen features stainless steel appliances, white countertops and an aquamarine tile backsplash. The bedroom is located off the kitchen and has a king bed as well as a 40" 4K TV. Enjoy a full premium cable package for those rare rainy days, including a subscription to HBO, Starz, Cinemax, and Showtime. The cottage also has high speed internet throughout. Situated close to “the washout” and right on the beach, this home is in a great location.
Outside, there is a screened in porch with cozy outdoor furniture and string lights. A perfect spot to relax with a book while listening to the ocean. Just steps from the porch is a 11’x14’ heated pool. The pool offers an oceanside oasis, perfect for a relaxing dip under the starry sky. No pets allowed. Anyone caught with a pet will be subject to a $1000 fine and possible eviction.

Pool heaters are not operational between mid June and mid September each year.
