West Ashley Avenue 0309 - Seashell's Folly

Our family loved our stay at Seashell's Folly! There were plenty of thoughtful touches that definitely show that the owners stay there as well and aren't absentee "landlord" style property owners. We enjoyed the convenience of plenty of silverware and dishes, comfortable, clean furniture, and very thoughtful design of the space so that even with a full house, someone could find a quiet spot to cuddle up and read. The game room below the house was a great spot for people to play ping pong and hang out while others cooked upstairs. There were a few challenges that were highlighted by the fact that almost anything we needed (cookie sheets? check, large bowl for salad? check) was there. We got a little spoiled, so when something wasn't there, we were more surprised than we would have been in most rentals. Those instances were very few, though, and everyone loved the house. We're already thinking of renting it again in the future!

Property has everything, labeled and clean. Ages 17-80 can enjoy the property. Beds are so comfortable and the sleeping spaces are very quiet. Large gathering areas in addition to small nooks for quiet time. Can not recommend more

Excellent property

This was an excellent home away from home that included everything that was needed. It was ideal for our four kids in their own private quarters. As for the remainder adult accommodations, it was very comfortable with separate baths and privacy. The home was spotless and the owners were more than welcoming in providing forgotten items. The decor was very interesting! The location was ideal with the beach out front and Folly town only a few blocks away. There was no need for us to use the car. This was by far the best family vacation home we have stayed. And thank you for sharing this wonderful home. Also VayKLife made it easy to rent bikes and Boards as they delivered on time and pick up. Although we didn’t use it, there’s a golf cart available for rent which would have been easy to tour the town., maybe next time…Again we appreciate the opportunity and thanks.

It’s hard it’s to explain the openness and natural light of the home. It was perfect with lots of windows and views. There are 2 decks. The upper deck offers amazing ocean views and more privacy. The rooms are large and comfortable. The only problem is deciding who gets the incredible master bedroom which has its own ocean front sitting room. The kitchen has everything you need and is open to the main room. The home perfectly located as well just close enough to all the shopping and restaurants but far enough away from the pier to have some family privacy.

Getting to walk down to the beach and being so close to the \"downtown\" was definitely our favorite part - walkable everywhere. The decor was so fun and certainly made our stay a \"happy\" one. We also felt very safe with the doors and passcodes.

Seashells Folly has been our favorite property to stay in on Folly, and we’ve stayed in many! It’s gorgeous, spacious, clean, activities right on the property and beach access. Would absolutely rent again.
