Property was just large enough for the six of us. Comfortable rooms and a “just big enough” common area to enjoy our family. 360* views of Folly Beach and Charleston area were amazing. Could even see the Rav Bridge. Loved our stay

Worth the Wait
This was our first family vacation in 8 years and was well worth the wait. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us and our adult children. The house was clean and spacious and so comfortable, we felt as if we were home. Beautiful sunrises on the front porch and wonderful sunsets on the back. We did not want for anything, it was a perfect vacation!! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay here.

Perfect Paradise

The home was beautiful! Very close to the beach, unmatched views, spacious for a large group! We hosted friends from Italy and we all had a beautiful vacation. There are a lot of steps which was no problem for us but could be for others. Highly recommend!

Folly Beach!
We greatly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house for anyone with a pet. Really nice house, great location, and Folly Beach is wonderful as always.

Absolutely perfect in every way

I had a group of 6 celebrating some 50th birthdays. We could NOT have been more pleased with our stay. The house was immaculate, well appointed, in a convenient location (especially regarding beach access.) We especially liked the widow’s watch and the views it allowed. Next time I’m at Folly with a larger group, we shall look no further for a perfect place to stay.

WONDERFUL Beach Escape!

We loved this property! Great , quiet location on Folly. Easy access to beach, and beautiful marsh views from the back deck! We witnessed breathtaking sunrises and sunsets every day. Nice kitchen, well furnished rooms, and comfortable beds. Also very dog friendly....we brought our puppy, and she enjoyed the fenced back yard! We hope to return.

Great Location!
This house is on the quiet end of Folly. It has beautiful views of the marsh, you can see all the way to the bridge in Charleston from the top deck. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog. We would stay here again.

Perfect Laid Back Beach House

Located on a quieter stretch of Folly with beach access across the street. Great house for a family with kids. Amazing views and very quiet.

Lovely views, comfortable cottage
We enjoyed our time at "Once Upon A Tide". The two porches were very nice with comfortable seating as were the living areas. House was clean and kitchen adequately equipped. The location was quiet. The beds were comfortable, closet space was okay. Steps would be difficult for vacationers who have physical limitations, but beautiful views of the marsh once you got to the top of the house.

Beautiful house w amazing views!
We didn't want our long Easter weekend to end. Despite strong winds during our stay, we really took in all the Folly beach area had to offer. Mostly time looking for shells, or riding our bikes down to the N. East end where Morris Island light house is. There are typically dolphins in the Folly river around the bend on the inlet beach and we saw 4 or 5 feeding in the river. And egrets, blue birds, marsh hens, & pelicans were everywhere. The house is very clean and the beds were very comfy! My fave thing to do was sit on the back deck and just absorb the beauty! The only think renters need to be ready for is the 3 flights of stairs. It kept the calories off!

Comfortable house in a fantastic location
We really enjoyed our stay at Folly Beach! The house has lots of room, the kitchen worked well for a few meals, and we enjoyed sitting on the front and back decks. The views of the marsh are especially wonderful. The location is really perfect -- down towards the end of the island, things are quiet and the beach is beautiful. However, it's an easy bike ride into the center of Folly if you want that, and only 25 minutes or so to get into Charleston. It was a wonderful long weekend for us and we'd gladly stay here again!

Best Thanksgiving EVER!
We loved this house! The views were amazing from every location. We had such a great time sitting on the porches! It is really special to see a full moon coming up over the ocean and a sunset over the marsh all at the same time.The kitchen was fully stocked and we had no problem preparing a a huge Thanksgiving dinner! We rented a golf cart and went all over exploring. Folly Beach is a gorgeous place. Thank You for blessing us with your house!

Stunning View of the marsh from the back decks and of the ocean from the front decks!
This place is amazing! We arrived on Saturday September 8th and stayed until Thursday September 13th. I called ahead and reserved a golf cart from folly beach golf cart rentals and picked up the cart on our way to the house. This was our first time at folly beach and we fell in love with the house and with the entire island! My wife loved the views from the house so much she would have been content never leaving the house! From the back Decks of the house you have a Beautiful view of the marsh with its vast display of wildlife, you also have a Beautiful view of the Cooper river bridge across the marsh as well as a Beautiful view of the Morris island light house. There are 2 decks on the back of the house and 2 decks on the front. From the front deck you have a Beautiful view of the ocean. The Front and back yards are perfectly manicured in the back I must have seen 30 or more monarch butterflies at one time on the flowers, I sat on the dock that is on the creek overlooking the marsh and watched fish chase shrimp through the creek! You can fish or catch crab right off the dock. I watched a red tailed hawk several times stalking his prey in the back of the house at one point landing on the rail 3 feet in front of me. I watched the pelicans fly in formation up and down the beach every day and I watched several dolphins swim by from the front deck as well. The house was perfect and stocked with everything we needed, Towels, Beach towels, linen, a Weber charcoal grill, everything we needed, several beach chairs, boogie boards and even a nice big tire bicycle with a basket on the front. The mattresses were so perfect that my wife wrote down the name and now wants to repace ours with them! I slept perfectly every night. All of the locals were so nice and personable! There is direct tv in all the bedrooms as well as the living room with HBO and every channel you can imagine. The beach access is 50 yards from the house and the beach is Beautiful! My wife could sit on the front deck and watch me swim in the ocean. The Morris island light house is about a 1/4 mile walk from the house. I am sure we put 150 mikes or more on the golf cart checking every spot on the island. I highly recommend checking this place out, you will not regret it! We will definitely be back! We also saw Jimmy Buffett on our last night at a local pizza place called The Woody, he was on folly surfing ahead of hurricane Florence. I am So Looking forward to our next stay!

Great house and great location!
Beautiful house! Close to beach and backyard on the inter coastal. Dock you can catch blue crab, watch birds and beautiful sunsets .

Quiet and lovely
The home was well equipped and comfortable. We appreciated the quality beds. Beautiful views from the porches and lovely afternoon breezes made it comfortable to be outside even when the afternoons were quite hot.
