Charleston Oceanfront Villa #223 "Sunset Retreat" has grand views of the beachfront and coastline looking south from the oceanfront balcony. The deck area at the villa entry offers a marvelous overview of the heart of Folly Beach. Located on the 3rd level of the complex (2nd floor of villas), views of beach and pool activities are readily available and the balcony offers a well-proportioned amount of sun and shade throughout the day. This renovated villa is fresh and clean, and has a modern, coastal look.
"Sunset Retreat" has been fully renovated. Artwork, wondrously color coordinated with the furnishings has been hung giving it a fresh, modern and coastal feel. TVs are provided in the living area and all bedrooms with access to Comcast "Xfinity" cable service, including the GOLF, ESPN and Fox Sports channels. Wi-Fi is available within the villa by signing on to the secure network with the provided password.
The living, kitchen and dining areas have new tile flooring throughout. The kitchen has an amazing new look with a new sink, white-toned granite counter tops, and new stainless steel appliances. The dining area has an eye catching light fixture over a dining table suitable for 8 people. Four bar stools are provided at the granite bar top between the kitchen and dining area. The living area has 2 sofas, one being a queen size sleep sofa. The living area has direct access to the large outdoor oceanfront balcony, which is equipped with a bar-top height table and 4 chairs all color coordinated with the interior design. Four rocking chairs are also provided for relaxing in the morning with a cup of coffee or tea, or a glass of juice, and in the evening for watching the sunset while sipping your favorite beverage. The sunsets are amazing from this balcony.
All three bathrooms were modernized with new flooring, vanities, sinks, faucets, towel rods, and tub and shower areas. One bathroom has a tub for the convenience of bathing small children and the other bathrooms are provided with walk-in tiled showers. The toilets in each bathroom are ADA compliant. Electrical outlets are conveniently available in each bathroom.
The master bedroom is large with grand views of the beachfront, and has direct, sliding door access to the outdoor oceanfront balcony. A king size bed is provided, and two side chairs have been added to provide sitting space when dressing and to serve as extra dining area chairs when more than 6 people are being served at the dining table. A large closet is available off the master bedroom that is large enough to accommodate a Pack-n-Play or portable crib as a space for sleeping a baby. The master bathroom is directly off the master bedroom, with a large glass-enclosed shower with a bench, and a large well lit vanity with ample drawer space for storage.
The remaining 2 bedrooms have their own bathroom off each bedroom. Upon entry to the villa, the bedroom to the right has a queen size bed with two bedside tables and ample closet space. The bedroom to the left has 2 twin beds with a single bedside table between the beds. Ample closet space is available.
Charleston Oceanfront Villas is conveniently located at the heart of Folly Beach and on a gorgeous beachfront that was recently revitalized. You can park your car inside a gated parking area and plan to walk wherever you need to go. Walk the beautiful sandy beach soaking up the South Carolina sun and enjoying the coastal breeze, or sit on the villa balcony and take in the oceanfront and poolside sights while enjoying either sun or shade and sipping on your favorite beverage. The local shops and many restaurants along Center Street and surrounding blocks are just steps away. Just stroll to the many local restaurants that offer a wide variety of fresh seafood and non-seafood meals. Live music and dancing can also be found within walking distance. So gather your crew and plan a few fun filled evenings in Folly Beach. During the day visit the Folly Beach Island park with a playground, or stand on the Folly River dock and watch the boats come and go. Just strolling around the may streets of Folly Beach and mingling with locals and other visitors is a relaxing and fun experience.
Historic Charleston, South Carolina is just a 15 minute drive away. Take a few hours or a day and visit historic Charleston. Walk the Charleston Battery along the waterfront, explore the Marketplace, take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the historic district or visit some of the many historical homes and antebellum mansions available for touring. You can have lunch at one of the many fine Charleston restaurants or picnic at Waterfront Park. If you stay late, be sure to dine at one of the many fine establishments in the historic district. Reservations are recommended but not required at most places. If time permits, visit one of the nearby plantations, explore the Aquarium or take a sunset cruise in Charleston Harbor.

Charleston Oceanfront Villas is a gated oceanfront complex located steps from the shops and restaurants of Folly Beach. These villas feature 2 oceanfront pools, 2 elevators, private covered parking, and amazing views. The pools at the Oceanfront Villas are open seasonally from April 1 - October 31st, weather permitting.
The temperature of the pools is not controlled, and will largely depend on the outside weather conditions. Building management is responsible for the upkeep of the pools and elevators on the property. They may close either of these amenities for routine maintenance or cleaning as and when required.
Parking is limited to two spaces per villa and passes are complimentary. If additional parking is desired, it is at the discretion of the building management and based on availability. If additional parking passes are available, guests may elect to purchase them, but the cost can range up to $100 per pass.

Our family LOVED the condo, it exceeded our expectations. Past experiences - online gives wonderful pics but when you get there a big disappoinitment. This condo is exceptionally CLEAN - the cleaning service does a fantastic job. Decorated BEAUTIFULLY. Kitchen well stocked with any utensil you could ever need.
We have stayed in a lot of condos/homes over the past 20 years (usually go to a beach at least once a year if not twice) and i have to say this is definitely the nicest and cleanest.

Had a wonderful week in Folly Beach! Spent our days at the beach/pool before heading into Charleston at night. Our favorite restaurants in Charleston were 167 Raw, Gingerline, and Le Farfalle. We also recommend going to the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. We hope you enjoy your stay!

Unparalleled property
What a great place! The decor is wonderful and the location is perfect. Easy access to the beach but also has a balcony that is facing to the south - which means you see really sublime sunsets. The furnishings are top notch and the kitchen is unusually well stocked. The owners obviously go above and beyond to make this place enjoyable. We traveled with other folks so we were not the party who booked the rental but we have this on our list to return many times! Spring Break 2021
We had a wonderful time in your Villa! It was clean, the beds were comfortable, there were plenty of linens provided. The Villa is incredibly close to downtown. We walked everywhere. No need for any transportation! It was truly wonderful and relaxing.

Great ocean front condo
This was the best condo my family and I have ever stayed in. This place is so clean and pretty, with a well stocked kitchen for cooking. We could walk everywhere to all the shops and restaurants. The porch has great furniture to relax on with the best beach view. Pool was closed when we went, but toddler is so excited to go back and swim in the pool.
